Proficiency or comparative testing is an important way of meeting the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025 in the area of quality assurance of laboratory results. At Measurements International we can provide proficiency testing on an one on one basis. Typically proficiency testing at the higher end of metrology fails due to the number of participants and thus increased travel uncertainties.
Proficiency testing or interlaboratory comparison determines the performance of individual laboratories for specific tests or measurements and is used to monitor laboratories’ continuing performance. Measurements International offers proficiency testing in DC Resistance artifacts, DC Resistance Bridge Ratio and some AC Power capabilities.
Proficiency testing allows the laboratory to demonstrate the reliability of the data they produce which will not only foster confidence in the laboratories performance but also the laboratories 17205 assessors.
