At Measurements International, customer support is a range of customer services to assist our customers in making cost-effective and correct use of our products to lower their uncertainties. It includes consulting with assistance in planning the purchase, advice, spare parts inquires, rentals, repairs, calibrations, upgrades, training, installation, troubleshooting and maintenance.

Consulting – Through consulting, Measurements International is in the practice of helping organizations to improve their metrological performance through the analysis of existing metrological obstacles. Our high level of knowledge in the fields of electrical metrology and AC Power starts with identifying the right equipment for our customer’s needs. These needs are combined with a service element which includes accreditation support built on the system or product with emphasis on reducing the uncertainty of the measurement. Our highly experienced personnel enables MIL to provide this.

Training – Measurements International with its highly skilled personnel provides training in both products and accreditation for developing in others in the field of metrology and AC Power. Measurements International has specific goals of improving our customers capability, capacity, productivity and performance and the need to continue training beyond the initial qualifications: to maintain, upgrade and update skills of its workers and customers throughout their working life often referred to as professional development.

Spare Parts – Our product specialists can assist in determining the correct parts that you need. In some cases, replacement parts may no longer be available for certain discontinued equipment or parts. Our specialists will work with you on figuring out the options available and suggest the best solution for your needs.

Rentals – In case of a calibration or repair, MIL has various rental units available which can be supplied to you during the repair or calibration of your unit.

Repairs – MIL offers both in-house and on-site repairs and evaluations. In house repairs can include both a basic repair and a repair with calibration. Any equipment that is being returned for a repair must have an RMA (Return Material Authorization).

Calibrations – Measurements International calibration laboratory is accredited by Standards Council of Canada for Metrology (Resistance, Voltage & Current), AC Power & Energy and the components used in the AccuLoss® series of loss measurement systems. All tests and calibrations are done according to ISO 17025 standards. We provide our customers with reports and certificates for all products. MIL provides both in-house and on-site calibrations. The calibrations can be in the form of an ISO 17025 or Standard Calibration. Any equipment that requires calibration must have a completed CSF (Calibration Service Form) filled in and emailed to sales@mintl.com prior to the test equipment arriving on site or at the factory.

For MIL’s AccuLoss® series of products annual calibrations or performance checks are recommended to ensure proper operation and accuracy on a yearly basis. Recommended calibration of the wattmeters or power analyzers is every one to two years. Recommended calibrations for the voltage dividers and current transformers is 3 to 5 years.

Upgrades – Upgrades can include a software program that provides added enhancements over an earlier version or a hardware device that provides greater performance than an earlier model. Measurements International is continually upgrading or developing new technologies on a 5 to 7 year period.

Installation & Commissioning – Measurements International provides installation, commissioning and training assistance to get you up and running as part of our larger system sales. For the AccuLoss® series of products this lasts about 4 to 5 days and for our DC product lines this lasts for 3 to 4 days.
