3 January 2017, Prescott, ON – Measurements International Ltd (MI herein) is proud to announce it is entering the 30th year as the leading developer and manufacturer of World Class Metrology Solutions. In an era when so much emphasis is being placed on accuracy and uncertainty, MI has achieved three decades of innovation and steady growth.
MI began operations in 1987 when Duane Brown and Dr. Andrew Dunn, the company’s founders released the first matrix scanner, which allowed users to help in the automation of Resistance Measurements. Following the matrix scanner, the Company released the first Automated Commercial DCC Resistance Bridge, which has been the preferred choice of most NMI’s worldwide for its ease of use, technological advantages, and its day in, day out operation where in fact some original bridges are still in service today!
Most recently the company has introduced Accubridge®, which is a combination of the old technology integrated with new leading edge technology developments. This has again changed the industry in allowing customers to reach sub-ppb measurements!
MI’s strong R&D program reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to delivering only the very best in Electrical Metrology Products and AC Power Products! “Our success and long life span are due to the unique ability to not only see what the market requires but the technological ability to provide it. Something other companies in our field struggle to accomplish.” VP Operations Ryan Brown “This has enabled us to grow internationally and create new Offices in the US, China, Japan, India, and Europe! Becoming the leading supplier in our field!”
